Mario Cristobal mentioned Carson Beck should start throwing in next 2 weeks

That is great news. Obviously, ahead of schedule. Let's just pray for no setbacks. He should be a full go around the Spring Game.

If he even participates at all in the spring would be amazing. Throwing in a few weeks i'm sure doesn't mean "full go," but certainly sounds ahead of schedule.
 
We are going to have to adjust our thinking in comparing Beck to Cam. Cam is a generational QB IMO with the soft skills of leadership that few possess. Beck won’t be TVD of course because he’s proven to be a very very good player on a roster of elite players. I have high hopes for Beck being capable of leading another 10 win season given the defense turnaround we all expect.

This is correct! 20-25 yrs from now, people will still be looking back on the 2024 season and wondering, "How tf did we miss the playoffs, with a talent like Cam Ward at QB"?
I can hear it now.
TV Promo: "What if I told you..... the road to the CFP isn't as clear as a 9-0 start, and a generational talent at QB, would have you believe".
"This is the true story of how Coach Mario C. and the 2024 Miami Hurricane defense, fucced their entire 2024 football season, while having the #1 overall NFL draft pick in Cam Ward, under center with 3 games left, and in front of a national audience. I'll talk about Citizen and Nelson. Both are actually quite similar. In each case just as they were getting close there was a setback. Nelson's injury kept getting infected which would send him back to square one. With Citizen, once he got close there was another injury. In neither of these cases did Mario ever purposely mislead the fanbase and I'm not one who has ever shyed away from criticizing Mario. With these two examples in context put together with the others it becomes quite clear that Mario should be trusted with injury updates and the Beck update is no different.
