The Miami Hurricanes are one win away from Charlotte. Below is everything Mario Cristobal said as the team gets ready for Syracuse:

On Syracuse’s offense: The running back [LeQuint Allen] is a really good player. He's a lot like who we faced last week. He's bigger, he's strong. Just one cut, make-you-miss-and-go guys. 20+ years of nothing and people still don't get this. It was always about upgrading the roster, not about "outscheming" people.
This is why I support Mario. It’s all about trench play and talent acquisition. No other coach would get the level of support from the boosters and the Board of Trustees that he has. Even if you’re not a fan of Mario, this is our best shot.

I’m still waiting for someone to show me a team that won a national championship by purely out-scheming another. Look at Georgia dismantling TCU or Michigan dominating Washington—they’re winning with superior talent and physicality, not just clever play-calling. Everyone’s favorite, coach kiffin, has the softest sec team I’ve ever seen with the most talent.

That being said go out and dominate Syracuse.

Soooo…let the Day hype ramp up to the next level
Yeah but the hype is all from the game field. Has he elevated his play on Greentree to the status of all-american?

If he only performs on game day but fails to reach AA status on Greentree, then he's a JAG.

*Sarcasm*

**Just in case***

Indiana might have something to say about this BUT I agree with your overall point. Having big time players is the key to success in college.
