Marcellius Pulliam (senior clips)

When I watched Pulliam's midseason senior clips, I was a little underwhelmed. But someone at UM recently dropped his name as a potential early impact guy. So I went back and watched his single game clips from the rest of the season and the state playoffs,. Either he got a lot better, or the person who made his midseason reel didn't like him. The game clips are loaded with instinctive, physical play as a pure LB. I know @KANE was a fan after seeing him live.

If he’s late is it due to mental processing or cuz he lacks the speed to get where needed ? The latter would be the bigger problem, i.e Corey Flagg.

Looks mental to me, because he’s getting there on time to at least limit the gain.

He and Raul Aguirre have been working out together too per their IG. Almost challenging one another. I’m really looking forward to this LB class.

Description seems a bit of an over statement. Believe he put a solid hit on QB in an earlier clip - appropriately deemed a highlight.

In that same game he drilled the QB in the rib pads, which was a display of his ability to trigger and close fast (even on a blitz).

On that last clip on the goal line, he hit the QB on the 2yd line and then carried him to the goal line and almost scored.

How that wasn’t called a TD is beyond me.

Defense. I think the expectation is that him and Aguirre will be further along mentally because of their experience as off-ball linebackers.
