This will turn out to be a wash I’m afraid. Manny is at least a competent defensive coordinator. Mario’s strength is recruiting which is going to be harder in this NIL/Portal era. Take that away from Mario and he’s competent at nothing.

Precisely. Kids want $$ now. The game has changed. That's why you need a true GM to run the personnel and NIL component completely. Mario should report to the GM. He has way too much authority.
