The thought of possibly having ND and DC Al Golden vs Ohio State in the national title game makes me want to vomit. Can we just get to the offseason already?!

I hope miami can get a good DC and finish in the portal strong as I really want them to beat ND next Labor day weekend.

Also we put too many years and money on the coach up front. We should have offered 5 years but not 10. Now the buyout it too big to do anything for couple more years. We better hope Mario can fix this problem.

While it would have been nice to have a shorter contract, that is in the ballpark of what other in demand coaches were/are getting (ex: Lincoln Riley got 10 years $110M, Deboer got 8 years $87M) and I doubt he was coming for less.

To think we probably could have cut Manny pay from the 4 mil he was making, kept him, and gotten similar results.
