Teaching a young linebacking corps how to defend the pass. The onus is on Coach D and Franklin to teach them to be able to hold their own in pass coverage. As of now, we have one adequate linebacker in pass coverage: Perryman. However we need many more. There lack of skill in this department this season gets a pass, it takes a while to teach LB's college level pass coverage when they were never even asked to execute it at a high school.

I believe if the linebackers become serviceable in this regard, then the defense will improve dramatically.

LoL no, more like teaching our players how to rush the passer and finding a replacement for Green

I'll never post again if Shayon Green starts against Florida next season.

All areas of player development will be the main focus on defense this offseason. The D-line has to get bigger, stronger, and faster to be able to stuff the run and get a pass rush with the front 4. If the D-line can accomplish this then the LB's and secondary will look all world next season. I think the entire defense is going to take a huge step forward and be able to shut opposing offenses down. Next season is going to be very nice...

I dont like our Lbs dropping in coverage because theyre so short..You can throw right over their head unless they get deep drops.. Its a recipe for sisaster. Lets just hope we can get some more pressure and be able to play some more man
