MACKENSIE ALEXANDER PLEASE!!!!

IMO our problems in the secondary aren't due to lack of talent. It's more about scheme, youth, and lack of pass rush. Mackensie Alexander isn't gonna fix that. With that said, I'd still love to get him.
 
For whatever reason it seems like the staff only wanted 1 CB and went with Artie Burns.

I still think both he and his brother should can play at Miami and should be recruited.

Everything being said here. Our corners are OK but they're young and still improving. If we had a better pass rush and a more aggressive DC we'd be getting more stops and big plays.

Mackensie Alexander is the most talented corner in the nation imo but there are other concerns with him that have scared off some schools. His talent is easily worth it though imo.

I'm happy with our CB's as well, really like what Gunter has done and Howard is starting to come on, Alexander is a kid you take if you can get him. I thought he was moret alented than T. Howard last year.
 
Majority of guys get open against our defense directly in the middle of the field. Usually the linebackers are blasting **** all over their pants and their heads are exploding trying to figure out how to play in their zone, so wide outs and tight ends just hang out with nobody within 15 yards of them. I think the CB's have been solid in coverage, at least when they've been allowed to cover..
 
While I want this kid at some point you have to develop the kids you got.

We have

1. Finnie,

2. Gunter,

3. Howard,

4. Hope,

5. Dortch,

and bringing in

6. Burns

I want Alexander without a doubt, but at some point we have to develop these kids and rely on them. We're going into sanctions with 6 CB, that is a 3 deep, to bring in Alexander I would say add him but to bring in another CB because of numbers, I can't agree with.
