Pops worried bout his meal ticket, and someone Prolly reminded him he's ruining his son's chances of playing and making it to the league. A la class of 2012 early declarations. Those boys left millions on the table.

Luther and his dumb *** pops probably figured it was in their best interest to apologize.

Luther would've been so far in the doghouse...

I thought Luther handled himself well and apologized for his fathers actions. He showed maturity in how he dealt with a situation that was not caused by him. More maturity in fact then some of the posters on this board who ironically seem about as classy as his father

He is directly quoted in an article on TOS. You are about as mature as his father

DT Luther Robinson today apologized for his father's criticism of the program on 560 WQAM last week.

"I just talked to him, told him he's wrong for doing it, that we need to cut that out and get to business," Robinson said. "I just apologize because I've heard some of the stuff he said and it was out of place, was out of place for him to say it.

I agree and think Golden is mature enough to know that players can't be accountable for their parents' actions. As long as L-Rob commits to the process, and continues to play better than the others, he'll get as many snaps as he can handle. IMO, he's 2 behind Pierre... though far behind. And behind him, there's really nothing. You certainly can't expect true freshmen like Moore or Ivery to be any good, and King was always a project at best. I don't think L-Rob is the answer next year. Hopefully, glassman can recover, Bryant and Bostwick are the goods, and we find 1 or 2 Jucos to step in.

Hey man, at the end of the day, Luther is a kid. He's got a jackass for a father, one who encourages Luther's excuse making and pouting. So I at least give him credit for standing up to his father at least publicly.
