Probably already been covered that they are working on opening game in 2018 in Dallas versus LSU. Didn't know if miami confirmed if it was happening or not but my buddy knows a guy who works for LSU and he said it was a done deal. Tifwiw.

I really still can't believe we have a game scheduled AT Toledo. Or have ever scheduled a game to be played AT Toledo. Our schedule for 2016, 17, and 18 is weak.
IMO we need to take Toledo off 2017 and 2018 and Arkansas St off 2017. Schedule a real non-conference home-away series for 2016 and 2017 (home 2016 because we also play at ND, away 2017), play LSU 2018, maybe try to get the Rutgers home game swapped to 2018.
What's up with us scheduling weak teams to play on the road against? **** 2015 we are scheduled to play at FAU and at Cincinnati. That is just bad scheduling in my opinion. We should only have road non-conference games when it is a power 5 conference team. Maybe it's just me though...

I like this game. By then it will be huge game with NC implications. We already have the write QB committed for this game and a load of RBs to run at them.

What's the drawback to scheduling like the $EC though? If we win the ACC those years we're probably getting into the Playoff. If not, it's not like the ACC runner-up is getting in unless they expand it to 8 teams by then. I'm obviously for a quality schedule as a fan but not when other conferences don't and not only aren't penalized but are rewarded.

I get that but teams in the SEC schedule teams to come play at their stadium. They do not go to those weak teams and have a home-home series

Ohhhh, agreed. A non-conf home-and-home in the $EC is about as rare as not hearing a racial slur within 5 seconds at one of their tailgates. Yeah, we shouldn't be playing at Toledo.

Playing at FAU is essentially a home game.

Nebraska, Rutgers, and Michigan St are the only teams on our future schedule thus far that should be played away. The more home games the bigger the advantage we have, and the more the school profits, its simple.
I'm sorry we shouldn't be playing 2 away non-conference games in a year like in 2015 and 2018. Maybe 1 away and 1 neutral. But anyway since we will be playing a neutral site game 2018, there is no way we keep the other two road games that year. So I fully expect that Toledo series to be canceled.

SEC conference teams do have a quality schedule. First of all they already "have tougher conference games" so they have the ability to schedule weaker teams outer conference, while still maintaining the perception they have a difficult schedule. Even if they don't really, all that matters is what the selection committee believes. And regardless, we shouldn't be scheduling home-away series with bad teams.
Some SEC future schedules.
1) LSU: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sec/lsu-tigers.php ; They have Syracuse, Penn St, ASU, Wisconsin, UCLA, and Okalahoma, and now us on their future schedule, and when they aren't playing those teams, all their other games are at home. They really do challenge themselves.
2) Arkansas: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sec/arkansas-razorbacks.php ; they play Texas Tech, TCU, Michigan, Texas. But again they schedule the rest at home.
3) Tennessee: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sec/tennessee-volunteers.php ; who play Oklahoma, Vtech, USC, Nebraska, Connecticut.
4) Yearly games like UGA vs GTech, Kentucky vs Louisville, South Carolina vs Clemson, UF vs FSU.

NC implications in 2018? Frankly, we may not even have a program by 2018, and if we do, I see NOTHING that indicates that LSU/UM would have NC implications any more than LSU vs Charlston Southern.

That's like saying that Miami/Free Shoes in 2014 has "National Championship" implications. So does FSU vs Bethune Cookman. :)

Now, "Third or fourth place in the Coastal implications" cpould be applied to many UM games ewith a straight face. :)

Dude zip it. That's 3 years away and if our recruiting picks up like it has no reason to say we wont be much better than we are regadless of who is coaching the team. And I sure as **** dont like No D. At the same time things can change in one season with no restrictions and better players

Why isn't there a dislike button?

WOW! "If our recruiting picks up like it has"? UF, Free Shoes, and ANYONE else who even tries comes in and rapes us, which has happened for Golden's three years so far. Golden's recruiting is GREAT, compared to UVA or Pitt (notice even with ultra superior talent Golden can't make any seperation over these teams on the field). Not even palpitable recruiting compared to Gatas or Free Shoes. (basically, if Muschump or Dumbo offered, they dump Miami like Lebron)

History says that VERY few of the commits everyone is crowing about now will be Canes on NSD. The Labor Day game alone should put every one of our solids back on the open market.

You guys act like you haven't seen this coming? The Golden fiasco is a mirror image of Radio's 4 years, complete with Spock with a beard!

BTW, not liking "NoD", but supporting Golden is a contradiction and logical impossibility. Dorito is the Jodl to Golden's scheme. You think firing Dorito and hiring a Kietel to run GOLDEN'S defense will matter?

"Palpitable" recruiting??? Wow... As for the rest of your post, mostly over the top negative half truths and rhetoric that drowns out any valid criticisms you were attempting to make. Just as bad as Golden can do no wrong person.

Don't think we can really afford not to play some of these programs in a home & home.

The going rate on paying a FBS school to come play you has been going up steadily over the last decade. It's get getting harder and harder for schools that aren't in the top tier as far as revenue to arrange. If you're Miami, it's very difficult to make enough off of ticket sales after Scum Life takes a cut, to pay a school like Toledo and still turn a profit; Miami can't even price their tickets effectively do to the huge surplus for a game like that. Hence, you see us in home-and-homes against Arky State, Toledo, FAU. To be honest, the FAU arrangement is fantastic, getting 2 home games with essentially 1 return that doesn't cost the school anything in travel expenses (i'd look for hard feelings with FIU to be eventually smoothed over, and a series with them to be reestablished, because of the same deal.)

My God! If we scheduled UVA for a season opener for the next 6 years, we get blown out by London four times, at least! (Golden being the ONLY current (yeah, Radio, but he's a position coach now) coach in football that London has won a battle of wits against)

What are you thinking?

We can't even stay on the field with Duke, or the worst VT team in 20+ years! I mean can't even stay on the field with them! Do you know what a lousy LSU team would do to us? (realize about half their team will be S. FL talent Golden whiffed on, so it will be Golden's plan D, 3 star, white, Jersey guys facing big black 305 mother****ers!).

Why is Golden suddenly going to start recruiiting, coaching and developing players, and have a top tier program by 2018?

What evidence suggests that? There is ZERO evidence he can build a program that can be 2nd in the AWFUL, TERRIBLE, WORST DIVISION in D1 footbal, Coastal after three years!!!!!! The only thing we know as fact is that in 3 seasons, Golden has been raped in S FL recruiting, has been outcoached, badly, in almost EVERY game he's been here, and his teams get worse, quit and fall apart as the season goes on (the TRUE mark of an awful coach)

last year was the gift of the century! A Cake Walk Schedule to a 11-1 regular season at worst, a ACC championship matchup and a default BCS Bowl game. Yet Golden supporters are claiming 9 unimpressive wins over bottom of the barrel opponents, a SICKENING THIRD in the Coastal, and 4 absolute blowout, sickening losses, was indicative of a great caoch and a program trending up. Sorry. I was at the Russell Bowl.

I'm no downer. But this DBC stuff that has taken over! Really? We ain't beating anybody, and if we play in a game with....LOL!...."NC Implications"....it will be as cannon fodder to Free Shoes.

This is insanity. Have you SEEN what has been going on for 12 years?

I can't tell if Smokey is doing a **** poor IbisNation impression or is serious.
