That's what this decision was about for golden IMO, a great attribute. However, will his best attribute be his biggest down fall as a head coach in regards to his defense? Time will tell, we hope not.

Loyalty in this case is selfishness. He should be loyal to the fans and admin who write his checks. His job is to win games not protect a bad coach. This is a myopic view IMO

The mere fact that he went after that job is the exact opposite of loyalty.

Don't know why it's so hard for some people to criticize Golden. His HC career has been identical to Shannon's, after all.
