I posted in another thread that he was credited with 10 qb pressures. Pressures is not a stat that gets talked about enough IMO. Shough had 50 dropbacks, I imagine it is hard to register a pressure on a 3-step slant or quick screen which we saw a few of but even with that 20% of this guys dropbacks he had Bain in his face. I think @Cribby was saying he was looking at pressures when we were after Baron or Alston or one of the transfers who didnt have crazy sack numbers.

I am hoping the DL gets healthy and it can help the defense out some. There are soooo many plays where the QB or RB is just a 1/2 step away from disaster, or makes some spinning hailmary of a toss that does not end up as a pic, we are bound to get one or two of those down the stretch. Honestly that is my only hope for the defense. Get Damari healthy to give a small boost, front 4 getting healthy for the first time all year to really turn up the pressure and Quan stepping up as the season progresses and he understands his assignments more.

Maybe we need more studs on the scout team offense. Great point. How is this D not getting any better going up against this offense.
