Was able to reach out to Charlie Strong (even though he is gone) and get some sort of answer. So you mean to tell me Al Golden not answering his Boss calls?

If that's truly the case, then Blake James needs to grow a pair as well.

I seriously doubt James hasn't spoken to Golden. At the end of the day Golden works for James and still need his permission to interview for the PSU job.
James knows what's going on. Their silence speaks volumes IMO.

I don't think that's how it works. Golden doesn't really need permission to interview for other positions.

Blake knows what he is doing and AL is his head coach...maybe Al called Blake and said I am staying and all of you have been trolled...

Charlie Strong has outclassed Golden in life.

He outclassed him on the football field in Orlando and is now outclassing him during the coaching search.

Compare how Strong handled the situation as opposed to Golden. Golden has disappeared and been a complete blackout. Leaving the players, fan base and recruits in the dark. Charlie Strong let everyone know what he was thinking less than 24 hours into the process.

Al Golden is a slimy lowlife in a tweed blazer with leather patched elbows asking recruits what he has to do to get em into a 2014 letter of intent with low miles and a new coat of paint.

STRONG: He's been offered by UT. He's going to accept. But first, he wants to speak with his boss (the only man that gave him a chance) and thank him for the opportunity. No conflicting reports. Everyone is on the same page. Everyone knows what's going on. Quick, easy process in less than 24 hours.

GOLDEN: Has been offered by PSU. Wait, never mind, he has not been offered. Wait, he's been offered but hasn't accepted. No, now he's expected to accept the offer. Hold on, no one has been offered yet. He's meeting with PSU tomorrow. Is he really meeting with them? No one knows. WTF is going on!?! Should the AD begin a coaching search? Should he not begin a coaching search? Golden has disappeared. No one can find him. Recruits don't know whats going on. Etc...

The guy is a freakin joke.

Nobody knows what's going on. Maybe al just wants to tell them today in person he isn't interested. Maybe he wanted to do that yesterday but they couldn't come due to the weather. My gut tells me he is gone but you just don't know

ESPN reporting he is interviewing, CANESInsider reports he has the job, Penn Live is reporting he is being interviewed this morning, NBC reports that they have 3 candidates and Franklin will be interviewed Sunday!!! No one knows **** and I can guarantee Blake and Golden have spoken and the rest of the miami community does not need to know every aspect of this situation.

Yes Internet posters must be informed before even the admin. You all are the most important people in the world. Get a life we are the last people the school cares about right now. They are under a lot of pressure in how they handle themselves. They probably don't want to look to desperate to Golden and are already looking for a replacement.

I am sure al and staff have told the EE's and all the recruits to **** off....he is that kind of guy
 
We don't know a whole lot more on Strong than we do on Golden. Has he taken the job? Is he staying at Louisville? You guy's should be complaining why Strong is holding Louisville hostage. Or maybe accept that it can take a few days to sort through a major job offer (or potential job offer) like Strong and Golden have received. Just because Golden is entertaining PSU doesn't mean he will take it. I really don't see the big issue with him taking the time to figure out what he wants to do. That said, I'm fine with him going mostly because the buyout gives us that much more $ to hire a competent coach to replace him.

you're crazy if you think James does not know that Golden is meeting with PSU.
