ESPN had Screwy Louie, former Dpmer coach, on yesterday and he explained what a coach hopes for from the typical recriiting class. He said, “25% -Game changers; 30%- eventual starters; 25%- Special team/role players; 20%-busts.” I think yesterday’s class exceeds those numbers. Whadda you think?
Game Changers = Kevin Olsen
S. Coley
B. Sandland
J. Carter
A. Burns
Eventual Starters = Dobard
Gall
G. Edwards
Odogwo
Muhammad
J. Grace
Kamula
Knighton
Figueroa
Bond
Lewis III
S T/ Roll= A. Barnard
I can't forsee any busts here unless it is injuries or academics.!
BTW, look at last year's class and you will see that Al has already exceeded those expectations![/SIZE]

Lulz. The whole point is that you can't forsee the busts. They happen when players dont project physically the way you see or kids don't adapt mentally to college life. The projetcs and tweeners in this class could potentially not develop the way we want (the Africans, Figueroa, Bond, RL3). Mental/Character/Academics issues are more difficult to forsee, obviously, though Coley seems to be a pretty mercurial guy. Not to say I dislike any of these guys. But lets be honest. You never hit on 100% of guys. Projecting what a 17 year old kid will look like when hes 21years old is **** near impossible.

We also might get the ultra rare find that Lou is too Christian to mention..... the murderer: Edward Williams.
