Losing to Duke

It's sickening to think that we have a high chance to lose to Duke. Duke University vs Duke of the South (Shalala's Miami). It's starting to show that our team is soft and we have very few leaders. Can we PLEASE bench Morris. After watching his postgame interview I don't think I'll ever back that kid again.

Best case scenario is 2 and 1. No chance we win all three. That is for absolute sure. But the smart money would be on 1 and 2. Pitt has a nasty dline and a heartbeat on offense. That game could get ugly, realistically.
 
Morris gave up on this season once his draft stock dropped. Time for us to give up on him and bench him.

Lol Pitt is our toughest game left. As mediocre as Duke is, Pitt is slightly above mediocre and that game is just setting up for a disaster.

Duke can and will put 40-50 points on us. If we had Duke, we had a fighting chance. With ole "we'll get em next time" Snickers leading us, I highly doubt a victory.

Al isnt losing to Duke. He knows if they march up and down on us like Vtech did he would have NO choice but to fire Dnofrio. I wouldnt be surprised if Al secretly told Dno that he is coaching for his job against Duke. We can NEVER EVER EVER EVER lose to Duke in football. Even Randy never did that. It would be the lowest point of the program to lose to Duke. It would take years for him to overcome a loss like that.

We beat UVA. Like the poster said, they are worse then USF.

Now I do see us losing to Pitt. 9-3. We play some SEC team in the bowl game and get beat. Season ends 9-4. Just like Randy in year 3 of his tenure. Smh.
 
Duke was bad when Randy was coach. Duke is good now. This Duke team would have beaten Randy's teams.

NotSince1985, dont matter. This team is better then most of Randys too. Yeah I get it...Duke is good. But Al still must know that UM losing to Duke in football is like UF losing to Vandy on yest. People will go down for that. The OC for UF is updating his resume as we speak im sure. You cant come back from that. The fan base and alumni would demand immediate firings from Als staff after a loss like that. Al doesnt want to fire his boy but he almost would have to because of the local pressure. Losing to Pitt or UVA would not be as catastrophic. Losing to Duke? Smh..I might not even come to this board the day after..
 
Duke wins out and they win the Coastal. I obviously do not want to lose to Duke (and I will be at the game), but if they do beat us, I hope they beat Wake and UNC too so that at least VT doesn't get the Coastal again.
 
Duke is full of smart nerds. Smart nerds will realize that the middle is wide ******* open on every play. This will be a shoot out at best, just hope we can score one more than them. Which will be tough if we insist on running a thousand tight end screens again.
