Losing focus

Michigan wolverines started the season off hot, then gradually played worse and worse. They were undefeated, but it seemed like with each game they got worse and worse, with more problems rearing their heads rather than being resolved. It was a rolling snowball of mediocrity until it caught up with them. Starting with USF, we've looked scarily similar to the michigan trend. Hopefully a scare like this one will help us regain focus, instead of having to lose. That's on the coaches. Go canes!

IMO Miami is a 12-15 ranked team right now. They had some issues, but last I checked it wasn't a beauty contest.
How many times have we watched Thursday night games exactly like that one from different teams.

UNC has been historically tough on us for what unknown reason, top it off I'd like to see how many times the home team has lost that Thursday night prime time game. We've won a majority of ours losing only to Virginia last I can remember, but even watching I don't recall a lot of home teams losing. That combo made for a tough night. Losing Duke hurts a lot too, so did Dorsett, in the end though, good teams find ways to win. We found a way to win a tough game where we just didn't play well. I don't think it's like Michigan, we have Wake next week to get back on track and work on fixing things.

Started off hot by almost losing to Akron and Conn.

Crushed central michigan
Convincingly beat then ranked #14 ND
Barely beat Akron
Barely beat uconn
Improved some against Minnesota
Lost to PSU in an emotional game like ours

It was a downward spiral after week 2. Same with Vag tech, except they've found a way to improve each game. We need to start trending upwards

That ND team isn't anything special this year, Rees can't lead that team. ND get's praise for the whole well last year they played for the NC, this year they'll probably win 8 games and play in a meh bowl game. That was a game between really overrated teams.

I don't think Michigan started off that hot. I don't see any similarity, I just see you forcing a comparison. We did not struggle against USF either, not sure what game you watched.

That's on the coaches? The coaches threw 4 boneheaded interceptions (and easily could have been 6-7), including what, 2-3 in the redzone? The coaches missed open receivers all game long?

The second half against USF was when we started our bad play. We should snap out of it though.

You mean when the game was over and G. Crow was playing. When the 2nd half started we were up 35-7 (+28), when the game ended we won 49-21 (+28). We went to the bench and they kept trying to score. Perhaps if we kept Williams in the game, Crow doesn't throw the pick-6 and we win by +35.

It's not the score throwing a pick 6 is unacceptable whether you are up 77-3,56-0, or 35-7. Ask AG I'm sure he'd agree.

That second half was embarrassing, no way around it. I'm never upset about a W, they may not all be pretty but we've been on this reckless play since that fumble thread guy, which happened to be the USF game.

We'll get over and our fans will jump back on the bandwagon after we beat FSU. It's just been some ugly football recently.
But trust the Tie

6-0

I convinced that some of you don't watch football at all and simply play Madden and get the occasional score update on your phone while jacking off to internet ****.
