a meniscus tear isn't the main factor, the degree of the ACL tear is what will mainly determine the length of recovery
 
Poor kid, canes fan, transfers, works hard for 3 years as a backup, locks up the job in the spring and then suffers a collegiate career ending injury celebrating a play... thats some bad luck

Do you think he'll use a medical redshirt and come back next year or nah? I just hate to see him miss out on everything he's worked for.

Glad to see the kid is at least going to get a degree out of this. Tough break. Rooting for a full and healthy recovery.
