When Golden got to Miami the defense was in the worst shape that it has been in the past 15-20 years. It's going to take 1-2 more recruiting classes to get the Defense where it needs to be.

The defensive line position is the worst, in terms of depth, on this team. Striking out at DT in the 2013 recruiting class really set this position back a year or two. In order for this to become a championship defensive line the young guys must develop fast, and this staff must hit a grand slam home run in recruiting.

If Eddie can get his act together that will take this position to the next level. If not this staff will need one more good class to get the numbers needed to have quality depth.
