Seems like he has been committed but just doesn't want to announce it so he can enjoy the entire process. As long as he ends up here go ahead and enjoy the process. I would rather they all be like Dallas and recruiting hard for other kids but that is never going to be possible.
 
hes silent. not sure irvin understands social media. let the kid enjoy it. ****.. dj just put out top 10 list and the U had the biggest logo. everyone knows he's coming but aint cool if irvin announced it.

It may not be mike's fault if someone just said to him "that's the d end from Cali, he's been committed". If they didn't tell him he's a silent or hasn't announced, it's not mike's fault.
 
I'm gonna side with Playmaker 99.99% of the time on anything Miami related. Just me though.

Wasn't it reported they had a long conversation at the camp? Would have to imagine he knows the kid is silent.
 
I mean Johnson pretty much said he was going to commit but just needed to talk it over with his parents 1st

DJ hasn't outright committed yet because he still has to convince his dad to be more okay with him leaving Cali to go to school.
Go back and listen to DJ on Pete's podcast, he said he trusts his dad's judgement & he'll follow what he tells him, so what DJ is trying to do is get his father more comfortable with the idea of him playing for Miami.
He visited Paradise this weekend with his coach, and sometime during the fall he'll comeback with his family on an official visit, that's when he'll likely announce his commitment.
He's all Canes no matter what, so we don't have anything to worry about, it's just that he may not verbally commit for a while, even if he's already committed silently.
