I love Golden getting all hyped with the players.


I also loved on Duke's 2nd TD, we had two blockers out in the secondary and Duke didn't even really need them. He just zooms past everyone.

I think he was going to wait to set up Dorsett's block... but once the Safety got turned around (thinking Duke was going inside)... Duke said enough of this.

I have to rank Duke's second TD run right up there with my all time favorite...... Willis McGahee screen pass against FSU 2002.......

Never get tired of watching them.....

No he wouldnt have; he would have kept him on the bench for half the year, then let him return a kickoff or two and then let him play the last game of year, in the process wasting the opportunity to play him full time or redshirt him.

Hmm, my Frank Gore is the best RB I've seen at UM may have to be revised. Frank did it on much better teams, and usually late in the games.

Willis didn't score on that pass. Geathers did on the next play.
 
Duke is a lot like Portis in that his speed is deceptive, they both rarely got caught. Wheres speed demons like Willis and James Jackson got caught when they shouldn't have.

I always thought that if that play wasn't against a team like FSU (that has speed to match ours), Willis woulda taken it to the house for sure lol

I could be hazy since it was a while ago, but I always felt like Willis' best attribute was his ridiculous burst moreso than top end speed.
