2014 Fort Lauderdale High School LB Jaboree' Williams (6’1”, 217) is one of the most interesting prospects in the country. Although he’s listed as a linebacker, you will see that he’s not a one-trick pony after watching his highlights.
“My versatility is my strength. I can play linebacker, safety, or slide to offense. I can play anything that coach needs me to play and I’ll do anything to help my team win. I have quickness on the defensive line and can cover at linebacker,” said Williams.
Williams embraces the opportunity to play multiple positions for his team.
“It’s a role I love. I can get with the big guys, can go back with the little guys at safety and cover and go to my own position also.”
The versatile athlete has been putting in extra work this offseason to improve.
“I run with the track team, work out with coach, and I have a big backyard at home so I do ladder work, push ups, sit ups. I work out with anyone who can make me better.”
The talented linebacker holds offers from South Alabama, SMU, FAU, and Memphis, but is hoping for Miami to show interest.
“I love Al Golden, I think he’s a great coach and the program is close to home. I love the old Hurricanes and I want to bring it back. I want to go there and ball.”
When asked if he would be camping at Miami this summer, Williams wasn’t shy with his answer.
“Yes sir, I definitely will. I want to be MVP and leave with an offer. I want the coaches to know who I am by the end of the day.”
**Aside from the Miami camp, Williams plans to attend camps at USF, UCF, FSU, as well as take trips to SMU and UCONN.
**He also hopes to hear from Florida, Georgia, Vandy, Marshall, Alabama, and NIU.
