After upsetting St. Thomas in last year's state semi finals, Venice squares off with the Raiders in the final four again this year. This time Venice will travel to Ft. Lauderdale and STA will have the home field advantage. St. Thomas may be the favorites, but Venice remains the state champs until someone beats them. Kickoff set for 7:30. This is gonna be a good one.

Very conservative start for Aquinas. Run for no gain, run for no gain, incompletion. Now they punt.

Daniel Carter explodes for a 75 yard touchdown run.
7-0 Aquinas with 8:57 left in the 1st.

17 yard touchdown pass from Casteel to The'andris Freeman. Casteel picking apart the zone right now. 14-0 Aquinas with 6:06 left in the 1st.

Venice's drive stalls and they will settle for a field goal.
14-3 Aquinas with 8:46 left in the half.

Casteel looking short for Rosemy but his pass is off target and intercepted. Hayden Wolff completes the next pass to Weston Wolff for a 15 yard gaid despite tight coverage by Jaden Davis. Sophomore Weston Wolff has looked very good tonight.

Hayden Wolff is an accurate passer when he has time to throw but he hasn't handled the pressure well tonight.

Venice has the kick blocked by Braylen Ingraham. They now only have 3 points off 2 STA turnovers. That's not how you beat St. Thomas.

Daniel Carter funbles but it's recovered by Rosemy. Venice with a lot of missed opportunities so far.

Daniel Carter punches it in from 3 yards out. He was an animal on that drive. 21-3 Aquinas with 1:15 left in the half.

Aquinas leads 21-3 at the break. Venice will get the ball to start the second half.

Jordan Battle murfs the punt but gets it back. Yet another missed opportunity by Venice.

Weston Wolff with a huge play on third and 10. He's been dominant tonight. Venice needs a touchdown off of this.

Weston Wolff with an unbelievable play on 4th and 10. He catches a short hitch route 5 yards short of the line of scrimmage and carries Myles Bell another 5 yards and picks up the 1st down. What a play by the sophomore.
