I’ll get to that tomorrow. We need major portal help and instant-impact recruits. The development is also very worrisome there.

But man can this offense compete at all levels and take over a game. It’s demoralizing to go up against.

Ward 4 Heisman.

He runs hard. Him and Martinez have what Fletcher is missing in terms of yards after contact.

Fletcher has good vision imo, but he needs to be stronger. And this is not a “give up on Fletcher” post. It’s more everyone else thinking Martinez was mid because the bench player is always better than the starter that isn’t performing.

Very very happy for both young men. This is what Sam Brown is good at - creating space over the middle and YAC!!!

And he makes ppl miss!

I actually think Fletcher put on too many lbs. He looked much faster last year

With the light boxes Louisville was offering, perfect game for him to get to the second level and destroy LBs.

And then even in condensed formations late, shout out both him and Ajay for running through tight holes.

If we can run like that, this offense will score 45+ every game. And we might need them to.

Not sure how anyone isn’t exactly right here. We can beat anyone, we can lose when we shouldn’t.

Savor the moment.
 
Fletcher still deserves the bulk of the carries.

Martinez in the 4th quarter though I’m ok with.

Surprised we saw Allen over Lyle. ALLEN played well

Development is really just the DBs, turns out Jahmile Addae was masking a lot of issues. He couldn’t recruit but his CBs were way better than this. To be fair we did lose a lot, 2 starting safeties and 2 starting CBs with Kam,JW, Couch and Davis. Remember when Couch was our biggest problem? He would probably be CB1 this season. If we had our secondary from last season we probably are winning these games 45-27/24 instead of 52-45 or 39-38.
 
Watching our fans flop back and forth between Fletcher and Martinez is truly a site to behold

also not sure where to put this but good on Ajay Allen for giving us some critical snaps @Shooter McGavin
