Pcity's Power Rankings:

1. Coley
2. Waters
3. Dorsett
4. Scott
5. Lewis
6. Dmauri Jones (hes still hangin in there right?)

Im excited to see the freshmen as well. Coley Should undoubtedly be our #1 wr. He Reminds me of a smaller Andre Johnson with the twitch of (almost, noones better than the man) Devin Hester.

I think we have one of the most talented WR cores in the country, top 5 if nothing else. I dont want Berrios to redshirt and I would also like to see him involved in the return game. He is so slippery and his cuts are nasty. Anyone see Braxton getting PT this year?

I think Lewis will bounce back this year and have a very solid season. The kid is finally healthy and has regained a lot of his explosiveness.

U guys watch the spring game? Lewis looks healthy, gonna ball out this season. Idk what uve seen from waters that makes him look anything but average

- Coley has top 5 talent in the country. He'll be an AA this year.
- Scott is completely under the radar becasue of his own bad decisions. I love his size and his ability to separate underneath. He's the second most versatile WR on the team.
- Dorsett is a Lee Evans clone who's a great deep route runner. No wiggle, terrible on ST. Just let him take the top off the D and get him the ball deep off PA.
- Waters can do a bit of everything but I'd like to see him get more physical. He disappears to often.
- Lewis is a question mark. There is no doubt he's talented but we've only seen him healthy for a few games.
- Jones and Kidd..no clue but hopefully they blow up.

Out of the 3 freshman I think Berrios and Brady will both be very good. Brady could be special.

I agree that Dorestt is not the best receiver on this team, because he is a one trick pony. But that one trick makes this team a **** of a lot better.

The Dorestt factor.
  1. Teams must respect his ability to go deep, preventing them from stacking the box and trying to shut down Duke.
  2. If them do stack the box, he can get behind man coverage quick resulting in huge gains or a TD every time.
  3. He is a very solid down the field blocker
  4. Because teams have to keep a safety over the top to prevent Dorestt from killing them deep, the medium game will be open.

There is a lot to not like about Dorestt, his lack of vision, his occasional drops, his limited rout running ability. One the other hand, what he does well he does it very well and it helps this team in more ways than what is visible on the stat sheet.

Coley is overrated as a WR. He's as good of a playmaker as there is in the country but he's got a long way to go as a WR.

I think some are really devaluing Dorsett. He's done some good things here. I think the positives definitely outweigh his negatives. I will agree he needs to step up in every big game this year. He should be mad if he's not in there during crunch time.

is it just me or was dorsett a lot shiftier as a freshman? you didn't even see him go deep as much

I agree that Dorsett is a beast at getting open deep, but his stock is down because of our QB situation. The one thing Morris could do at a high level was get the ball down field, whoever we start likely won't be as good at throwing deep. Still at worst he can be used as a decoy and at best he's a big play machine, we won't see ANY kind zero coverage defense if he's in the game.

Looking back losing Dorsett for the majority of the season affected Morris and subsequently the offensive performance more then we realized.
The Morris arm and Dorsett speed combo was deadly.

Looking at 2014, Dorsett's value will take a hit some since none of the QB's have the arm to exploit his main skill, speed.

I think 4 receivers and 1 TE will make all ACC this year, along with a couple making All American as well.... This offense is going to epic I can't wait fellas.

love these guys, after coley the others guys all bring some good stuff to our team. They are more mature and should, collectively, have a great season, if the qb play is good.

Interesting that Malcolm Lewis looked close to 100% in spring, and we saw a little bit how good he is healthy as a freshman.

This is by far the deepest WR group we have had in a long time.

I expect Lewis to do better than 5th.

I also expect Jones to be a transfer candidate sometime during camp. He will realize that he will never see the field here. Even next season, he will still be behind Coley, Lewis and Waters and it's very likely that Langham, Berrios and/or Brady could pass him too.

Dorsett is our second best wr watch what he does with heaps

after coley, it's tough to say. i think scott could be possibly number 2. PD is gonna stretch secondaries and if we have a qb who can throw it long, he will have some big tds. love waters. lewis is not applicable at the moment. let's hope he can recover 100%.
