This is big step. "Lose big, lose small, win small and win big." Just saying we should be proud of a faulty season, but no doubt a very good season.
Everyone just try and celebrate a nice Canes win tomorrow and be Thankful.
Happy New Year to all Canes fans!! Hope you are blessed in the coming years.

Win and it's a really good season...lose and it's a failure as we would have lost 3 of our last 4 games and continued the end of season collapse. Definitely not a meaningless bowl game as positive momentum for next season is critical

And some people say the game is meaningless. I want that 11th win really bad because as OP said, it would be the 1st time since the 2003 squad did it when they beat FSU 16-14 in the Orange Bowl Classic in Jan 2004. FSU was trying to cash in their "rain check" and avenge the beatdown they took at home at the hands of a Canes squad led by Sean Taylor and his 3 INTs in a driving rainstorm. One of the most memorable plays in the Orange Bowl Classic that year was DJ Williams shocking the noles on a fake punt where DJ received a direct snap while lined up at upback in punt formation on 4th and inches running for 31 yards to ice the game.

Exited for the game!! I am a "anything less than a ACCC in 2024 is a failure" guy. So, in that way I'm disappointed. But it's not a meaningless bowl, 11-2 is a good season! We can finish a very strong season on a win. Get to see Cam, and other Senors for the last time! We get to see the young guys for part of the game! I'm really excited for 2025 and the Emory era. Bring in a few portal guys and we are going to be good again!! Also interested to see what happens with our Defensive staff in the off-season. GO CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
