Solomon is a great recruit and a great LB. Glad we have him committed!!!. However, he is also the nephew of coach Harriott of St Thomas HS, in the long term to have this close bond with the head coach at the the top high school in the nation...... For coach Harriott to feel the family atmosphere at the U and get to know CMR at a family/personal level, can only help with the future recruits at St Thomas. Hoping he comes as part of the Solomon family to watch our games, spring practices, etc., etc.

Didn't know about the relation, but we cannot put enough emphasis on recruiting STA properly. That was one thing that really got away in the recent dark ages.

Were pretty plugged in at STA regardless of Harriot.Twan Russel is over there as well and George Smith is still around.

Having 3 commits for 2019, Munoz, Huff and Solomon pretty go indication we plugged in at STA. Need Ingraham, the big OL and that WR to commit.

Good post.

I would say Neal is our biggest recruit of the Richt era, as of now, however as an STA alum love seeing commits like this.

I remember hearing Shannon only visited STA 4 times and **** near had a coronary.

I’m too lazy and incompetent too find and post the video clip of him yelling into another STA’s player ear during interview, but it was classic.

When the school you coach is the top producer of NFL talent you can't pick favorites when it comes to a college. You won't see coach Harriott actively recruiting for Miami, that is not what a good coach at a big time program would do.

Now with that said, it certainly won't hurt us at all and is only going to improve our chances with his player, as he gets an extra incentive to get to know our program.
