Of all the LB recruits we are pursuing [ J. Grace
M Thomas
Reuben Foster
D. Bond
Q. Powell ],

who, other than Bond, would NOT redshirt their first year if we got 'em?
Does Figureoa redshirt, or not?

How many of 'em do we take?

What about CB R. Robinson? Redshirt, or not?

Grace plays because we need his coverage ability and speed at that position.
6 plays because, well, he's kind of awesome.
Foster MIGHT redshirt because we're set at MLB, but I think he's too good to sit.
Powell is kind of the same situation as Foster, IMO.

Now, if we get ALL FIVE PLAYERS, something would have to give. Because of the size of this class, I see 0 chance of that happening. In the more realistic case where we get Bond and 2 of the 4 HS recruits, I don't really see any situation where they're not on the field this year. Especially in the case of 6. He's a game changer.

Robinson is a great talent. Losing Finnie (look, guys, he's not coming back to the U. Get over it) hurts depth, and gives Robinson the opportunity to play early. I think you play him.
 
J. Grace - prob redshirt; don´t really need his coverage ability next season, see below;
M Thomas - plays and gives us a pass rush; can also cover just as well as Grace;
Reuben Foster - lol
D. Bond - situational pass rusher next season;
Q. Powell - would def redshirt to bulk up, like Grace;
Figueroa - prob redshirt, although he may be mature enough physically, then it´s down to whether the coaches want him on STs.

I agree with this... but I think bond will be in often... might have a 3 deep depth chart at the LB spot...

Grace would likely redshirt

Thomas and Alex will play especially on special teams and 3rd down situations.

Bond is playing DE and will most likely start from day 1 if he can bring his weight up to 245

Robinson would redshirt

I agree lol at Foster. So Lucky if we get him.

Foster is coming in bigger than all our current LB's... he is a head hunter and very fast to the ball... trys to kill with every hit.... he would start from day 1

I agree dycane, but as a heads up, there is a new interview of Foster on the tos wherein he states he's planning to visit UM. That said, I think he's all SEC - I'm guessing Georgia.

No, Foster is not coming in anywhere near Coral Gables, which is why I didn't mention him. I'm dealing in reality.

Thomas - ST and some PT (Gabe Terry)
Bond - immediate contributor especially 3rd downs
Powell - rs
Figs - ST
Foster - meh
