Numbers 1 and 2 look promising. For 1, he'd come Summer 1 and be immediately eligible without a waiver. For 2, the issue might be academic- will UM accept 100+ transfer credits the semester of graduation?

That was just a proposal submitted by two professors. Not adopted by the NCAA.

Option 1 would mean Tate has to stay at OSU throught May and miss out on Spring practices at Miami.

What's the difference between Field's transfer situation to OSU and Tate's and why is he expected to be eligible immediately?

We should get a good clear picture of how bias the NCAA is. If kids got waivers last year to $EC schools for less he should also. Fields doesn’t seem to have any real reason to transfer other then he will be a backup for two more years at UGAy
fields has racist stuff yelled at him by a baseball player who never got punished for it. I think in end both get it as may be even more coming with fields out of Georgia about what happened and could end up hurting Georgia recruiting next few years if is racial in nature as it seems

Question for all

Does Tate plan on enrolling at Miami now or finishing another semester at OSU? If the reports that he has hired lawyers to get a eligibility waiver are true that means there’s no way he grad transfers like the buzz recently indicated.

So I’m assuming he’ll be enrolling at Miami now right? No point staying at OSU. And if he enrolls at Miami now, he can still participate in spring ball/ spring game while fighting for 2019 eligibility right?

I would love to believe that its true that anything will come with it, but clearly recruits don't care.

Zach Smith was his lead recruiter

We fuxin

Lawyer can start spinning how his Lead recruiter was such a bad influence on him and having what he thought was a great role model taken away from the team and then ran through the mud with his and Urban's past being subjected to media scrutiny really affected him mentally having to listen and answer for accusations he didn't know happened.

The only downside to this is if this dissuades Hurts from coming here AND Martell is denied a waiver.

Let's be real here: Hurts isn't going somewhere he isn't 100% guaranteed to start.

Well then we were where we were to begin with a week ago

There is no downside

Lawsuits aren't wrapped up neatly in a few days. With Martell threatening legal action to get a waiver, of course that impacts Hurts' decision. Maryland, OU, TCU, wherever may just guarantee Hurts the starting gig. There's no way we guarantee Hurts the starting gig while encouraging Martell to get a waiver that could ultimately waste a year of his eligibility if Hurts is starting.

Spencer Rattler is a 5 star at OU. so I guess hes going to Maryland if hes tired of competition

true which is stupid u would think the more **** like that u find out racially that more African American parents would want to keep kids away from there and frankly this story will get out with the waiver process so what happened when might become h uge story not sure will but should .
