Leave it to a 30 year old 12th grader to think that there's still any suspense left. He overplayed his troll hand. The only people he's going to surprise at this point are his Special Ed classmates.

Jobe is actually 3 years older than Jon Richt. Still 10 years younger than Calvin Ridley though- who is 5 years older than Calvin Johnson.

I've done the same; but maybe I'm not totally way past JJ yet.

Maybe I'm new to this; but if Jobe is as important to us as I believe he is, why aren't CMR and the entire coaching staff going up with Panda?

By the way, mad props to OP for having the stones to start it that way. Funny!

If the interview occurred then Jobe decommitted. Pete probably wants Jobe to break the news.

Because Richt's only allowed one in-home visit. If he flies up to Connecticut, that's it. If Jobe's going to decommit and go to Bama (which he's probably going to do), there's a likelihood that Richt would be wasting his time and didn't have much of a chance.

And although he's good, Jobe's not the most important recruit in our class - not even top 5. In order its Silvera, Lingard, J. Williams, Pope then Hall.

True. We're all just speculating, none of us have any idea of what's going to happen until signing day. Anyone on here who thinks they know what'll happen doesn't really know. They have a 50% chance of being right though.

I think Pete pulled the trigger too early letting us know about the interview. Why go silent after that? It cant be anything good because if it were then he would have posted it I would think. Just pure speculation on my part but the he is gone.

Jobe and Alabama
It's hard to get much if any really solid info on Top100 safety Josh Jobe right now. We can report that Banda was up in Connecticut on Friday, but the U.S. Army All-American's visit plans for the upcoming weekend remain unclear. Alabama seems to remain confident that they will get Jobe down to Tuscaloosa and flip Jobe from Miami, but the Hurricanes seem to think there's a chance that he sees Coral Gables one last time before making a final decision. We'll see.

Should Jobe defect from the class there's a good chance that UM might push for Daytona Beach Mainland three-star safety John Huggins. They could also offer Ole Miss cornerback commit Keidron Smith. We wrote last week that the Oxbridge Academy standout didn't receive a visit from Miami during the first week of the contact period, but we're told that he remains an option and is someone that Rumph loves at cornerback.

Pete's interview with Jobe lasted almost an hour and had several bombshells! Problema is it was all off da record.

Laughable that we're having to even convince Jobe to go on an OV to Coral Gables and having to fight to keep him away from that **** hole in Bama.
 
It will be funny if Jobe does all of this just get the the Bama Alter and say nahhh I'm staying home and going to Miami... and in the process signal the end of Bama SF recruiting as we know it... "120% chance i will flip" always seemed like a huge Saban/Bama troll job..
