Playing for the starting Job in Miami...

Aside from the fumble looks like a good running back...he hits the whole fast

so far I think he has had 2 carries and 19 yards...

He eats up yards quick

I'm pulling for Miller this season, He will carry the Miami name well. He could turn into a good recruiting piece down the road, just like our previous great Cane RB's.
 
the dolphins look a complete mess...but I am hoping lamar has a good career...

The ability is there for sure

He had to do the best for him which I respect especially more for the rb position.. When it's your time you go

This is why I would understand if Duke declares after his Junior season. RB's have a short window to make there money in the NFL. If players like Miller succeed, it will make it easier to sell elite high school RB on coming to Miami.

Which is why I love to see us recruit elite level rb's so we never lose a step.... Just a new name and hunger to get it done
 
He's still runs soft. When he broke in the open field and was one-on-one with the DB and I was saying to myself "lets see what he does here." Sure enough he just covered up the ball and voluntarily took a lick. He's been doing that forever. I guess he just doesn't have that killer instinct.

Other than that he's got some nice tools. I think he'll do well.

Disagree. Other than the 2 turnovers they looked ok for the first preseason game. DL got push, and the LBs were very active. Lamar looked lightning quick. Our wideouts, mostly back ups did look slow. Too many drops. But overall it was a good first preseason game to me. I think there is a lot of potential and a lot of talent. A lot will depend on Tannehill. I was never a fan of his, but I hope he proves me wrong.

Negged, how did he leave us hanging, kid has a bad shoulder and RB's should get to the league as soon as they can because they have such a short shelf-life. Some garbage wishing bad for the kid.
