All the talk after upsetting nbr 19 FSU a couple weeks ago was how far can these leaping Ladies go? But how fast it fizzles. Already on a Last 4 Bubble, they just lost to Louisville, which means losing 3 of the last 4 vs unranked teams by double digits. So they are 17-11, and Katie looked as miserable most of the evening as the twins and others did on the court. Sigh... or... better luck next year?

Beat Virginia Sunday and win at least one ACC tournament game and I believe they are in, anything less and I believe they are out.

Play BC tonight at 8 in the second round of the ACCT. Better win, because the next rounds are gonna be tough.
very slow start...i'd say "tighten up" but not sure thats allowed
(harden is hard to watch, no wordplay intended)

upd... thank goodness for Pendande, breaking her season PPG 7.8 average in 1 quarter (8)and keeping Miami close

well, Pendande FT 3 for 9 not helpful, but Miami up by 4 after 3. Go Lady Canes!

If the ladies lose today against Va Tech do they make the tournament? A win puts them in no matter what happens tomorrow. Beating a top 10 team twice in a year is huge.

Is there actually a bar that Katie Meier has to clear in the immediate future to avoid real criticism? I'm not sensing there is or ever has been. The narrative that she's doing us a massive favor at great personal professional sacrifice and we should be glad for these "results" still seems to be as strong as ever.

I think Katie has done well to make the program competitive and where she makes her mark is getting to that elite level which has not happened as of yet.

I'll reserve comment until after this season and will hope for the best in the interim. Hopefully the NCAA nonsense has put a chip on all of their shoulders.

First time watching them this year. They’re quick but I gotta be honest, women’s ball is really hard to watch. They’re airballing layups….
