Kris Thompson 3* LB played against IMG Friday night and they had no answer for him. Claims to be the #1 LB in TN and the Vol Sports Network agrees. Got his offer the next day after the IMG game.

We're real early here. 247 has GTech, Illini, UL, MD, UAB, UNLV and New Mexico State as his only offers.

But that was before the IMG game.
 
Appears to have visited Bama last week. The $EC offers likely are not far away. If we win this recruiting battle, it won't because we snuck him out of TN w/o anyone knowing about it.

Got a chance to watch the game, thought he did well and unsure why services underrate most guys from Lipscomb.

Edwin Spillman is clearly the best on the team IMO (was rated 95 but dropped to 90 for no camps). However, Kris popped as well, especially since the talent gap between Lipscomb and IMG is so large. The LB core at Lipscomb this year is pretty unreal

Lipscomb just got put into the highest division for private school with some good teams. He will have good tape. Brentwood Academy has #2 rated QB in 2025, George McIntire. Kid is almost 6’6 going into his junior year with some offers in hoops too. Mike McIntyre at FIU’s nephew. Might catch that one this year

watched the game....must say the speed aint the same as s.fla.

Alot of guys with offers and rankings on both teams and i left thinking some of our mid teams wouldve handled up both schools in this one.

It ended great though.

Lipscomb jr qb cost em n brought em back ...it was a good watch. Lipscomb couldve won this one if they had a competent offense for more than 5 mins of this game. lol

Lipscomb just lost Head Coach, Mawae isn’t as good. But also Deuce Knight was for sure looking awful until the final 5 minutes.


Lipscomb LBs and Kameron Beasley are top notch though.
