Bama makes 160 million dollars a year with their athletic program.Mostly in football between ticket sales ,paraphernalia,and tv.It translates into 750,000 dollars net per year for each recruit or 3 million a year if they stay the four years.In addition their enrollment has increased from 22,000 to 38,000 since Saban has been there.Kirby Smart who is a Saban protege is going to do what his mentor does even better at Georgia which has better football players and is wealthier than Alabama.Emmert who is a Saban and SEC friend will do nothing as we have witness.The FBI has to get involved and put a few people in jail to stop these shenanigans and clean up College football.The money and profits are huge and paying star high school recruits a few shekels is well worth the investment based on the enormous return.
 
Coley's obviously not paid $450,000 a year for his offensive mind so he obviously brings something else to the table.

First and foremost, this is bull****. Tyson's father is a retired firefighter, they don't need "bags". They would never compromise themselves by accepting any cash from a college.

I’ve posted it before and I’m sure I’ll have to do it again. The “saben” way is to give the assistant a recruiting bonus. The coaches give what they must to the parents and handlers and keep the rest. All cash! If the assistant ever told anyone, he’d be in trouble with the NCAA. Also, giving it to people, without “the student athletes knowledge” is NOT a violation. Outside of the IRS, it’s legal. See cam newton. Happy? Fwiw Alabama is down here and spending/trying. Also, Georgia has a cash fund on the side for big drops. Kirby embraces it. Richt hated it and gave the boosters problems.

There’s such a long way to go, between now and signing day. Richt isn’t stupid and he’s loves to have a big signing day. Campbell is Rumph’s kid and I’d be surprised if he signs anywhere but Miami. Surtain is LSU unless his mother wants him to stay home. Jobe is definitely in play. He must qualify to come here. Bama “was” his second choice. His family will help him decide. They love the U, like cooper/Ridley and so many others. I’m told this second and third hand. We all get to wait and see....

we'll know jobe is gone, if he tells us he's gone. the longer he doesn't, the better it is for us. i think we'll know within the next 24, after his dad meets with richt. if that happens. at the least, the family is class for telling him to his face.

It would be great to know their thoughts on the FBI's investigation. They "donate" to the foundation and remain at arms length. If the FBI investigated it thoroughly, it would fall like a house of cards. The SEC alone is probably paying at least $500,000 per team, per year. That is millions in unreported gifts/income.

I used to run around with Don Tyson, for years. His only involvement in Razorback football was the double secret off the books hiring of a former Clemson HC as a "volunteer" assistant until he could be officially named Hogs HC. Maybe its changed since his passing, but Tyson Foods never paid football recruits, or has anything to do with them. Now basketball.......................
