Just offered. 6’3, 194, 4.73 with a 34 inch vert out of South Miami.
Saw him on the camp circuit. Skinny but power plays up because of exceptional straight-line burst.

2020? I was hoping at least 2021-2022 at that weight.
UM
Harvey 6'4 Rousseau 6'7 so its easier for them to add weight when compared to a kid thats 6'2.5. Also both were much bigger than this kid is by the end of their junior years.I don't know about that.... For comparison Harvey and Rousseau were only listed at 225ish their senior year. If this kid is hovering around 200 as a junior he may end up in the same general weight class as those two and probably wouldn't be expected to contribute immediately here.

It would take him at least 3 years to put on 71 pounds safely with his frame. Thats with adding plenty of fat too which isnt necessarily a bad thing but too much is. I think 240 is a much more realistic weight for him to reach with only a 6'2 frame. Even then we are looking at 2 years if he starts now. This isnt Zion Nelson or Greg R. Those guys at 6'6+ can put on 30 pounds and not feel them.Intriguing
Is he under or over 200 confirmed? Surprising power for being so light. If he can keep the explosion and get up to 265 (at UM) oooweee.

The move makes sense if we see him as a linebacker IMO. I think its silly to expect a kid thats 6'2.5 194 to become a DE anytime soon.He kind of reminded me of Mike Smith (pre-injury) so I pulled up the numbers:
Mike Smith- 6'2, 210, 4.86, 4.53 shuttle, 30.2 vert
Khaya Wright- 6'3, 194, 4.73, 4.50 shuttle, 34 vert
I'd like Wright to be a little quicker laterally given his weight but you can see the explosion in his vert.
240-250 is much more fair than 265. I think the smartest move would be linebacker or that edge blitzer specialist that we see Diaz run all the timeHe looks lanky but he'd need to grow an inch or two which is certainly possible. It's part of projecting.... Is this kid done growing? If not, he has loads of potential. 250 range is probably better to throw out.
