I'm assuming everyone here loves Olsen, correct? Assume the following are true: His backup (one year behind) is a bit bigger, stronger, faster, throws just as well, and is more athletic than him. Scouts have rated him just shy of a 4 star prospect, even though he didn't start and had limited playing time. Those around his HS program think he has a chance to be as good or better than him. Miami coaches have had a chance to see them both in person at practice and agree with the previous statement. Miami coaches have their own film on him and access to practice film where they've seen him run scout team O against their highly rated D (running a variety of offenses). Of course, he didn't start any games because Olsen was ahead of him but did look very good in the limited amount of time he did play.

Would you be comfortable with Miami offering him? Would you trust Golden's/Fisch's/Coley's judgement?

I think I would want Miami to do what I imagine most schools would do and wait to see what he does in his senior season.

He's talking about Mahalak, the QB from CA Fisch was in pretty close contact with.

disagree

If he really has as many things going for him as OP said in his post, then I would slow play him until I get to see whether or not he can put it all together on the field.

By that time it would be too late. It's always easier to cool on a prospect than to make up ground after they arrive.

I heard that imaginary O2 really wants to get out of Olsens shadow. You know, from my source:)

This is a terrible hypothetical. I honestly dont even know what you are asking because it really doesnt make sense.
