Kevin Olsen?

He and Dewey will be battling it out for the starting gig by his the time he's a redshirt sophomore if Williams is JAG

My way-too-early prediction is that Ryan Williams starts in 2014.

Once you get past Morris, the other guys (Williams, Olsen, Dewey) make their livings with smarts and accuracy. Olsen maybe has the strongest arm of that second group, but he's not a physical phenom by any means.

Williams has a two-year head start on the other two to go along with four inches of height. With playmakers around him like Miami should have in 2014, he'll be more effective than what you saw in the spring game.

Very true. Plus he is the only upperclassmen with starts under his belt (Memphis). I think he has almost 2 years to get that arm a stronger and get that spiral tighter. But unless he fixes that, I expect someone else to be the starter.

**** will freeze over before Ryan Williams beats Kevin Olsen in a head to head QB competition.

My boy is the o line coach at Westminster has been for like 3 years so he's boys with Thompson. He tells me the kid plays like tebow but a much better passer cause of baseball ( just like Morris who played top level HS baseball at Pace) and that Thompson has said Kevin Olsen is more of Al Goldens guy but Thompson is Coach Fisch favorite.

I thought Thompson said he would focus on baseball only.

Nah, you gotta understand Thompson grew up right here in Pinecrest, went to school literally 10 min from the U. He's a legit cane fan just like all of us, has been his whole life just like any other kid in Miami. His dream since he was little was always to be the starting QB here at Miami. Just by great fortune he happened to end up being an excellent baseball player too.

I will say this, if Thompson focused on football (which he won't) I think he could play QB at UM. I think he would be very similar to Wilson during his NCState days. Tremendous athlete, great arm.

This might sound crazy, but could Morris leave early? With his arm, I cannot imagine him not being a top 5-7 QB prospect in this upcoming draft.

I thinks it's gonna be hard for any underclass men to leave early now for the next 2-3 years just based off last years teams underclassmen who left early and now have no lives, except Lamar kinda and Olivier
