With Notre Dame coming to the Rock on Labor Day Weekend, the Hurricanes know they need to beef up their front. The staff wasted no time in arranging a visit for former five-star recruit and Kentucky transfer DT Keeshawn Silver.

Everything will work better with a guy like this in the middle. Big time DT/NT do not come available very often.

This is an area where I bring in multiple guys in HS if they meet certain height/weight/athletic marks. If we had 2-3 guys like this, it would unlock new formations that we just can’t do right now without exposing ourselves.

Hopefully the figure out how to line up and shift the front to match the offensive alignment. Even if he eats 2 blocks every time we're still out-leveraged many times this year.
