Remember him? Was close to committing a few months back, just got offered by bama today

We kinda jerked this kid around...Will be interesting to see if Bama offer is commitable. I didn't mind him as a FS maybe even with a chance to play corner. Nice speed for safety.

Article today on him on TOS Hartley speaks with him. Said someone is going to see him at school soon. IDK about now-after this offer- but the impression from the article is he really wants Miami.
 
Bama offers a significant number of kids to get them to come to their camp.

It almost certainly isn't commitable, but if he shows out in front of them then maybe. That's how Jhavonte Dean was able to commit. Ran a 4.3 at their camp.

I like Logan, but I don't think you take him unless you feel bad about your other safety targets, esp with Smith already on board
 
I really like this kids size and athleticism. If he wanted to commit we should have accepted it while still pursuing the guys on top of our board. Easier to allow a kid to move on than hope he signs after missing out on preferred guys.

He's waiting on his gator offer fellas , the only way he goes anywhere else is if they don't offer him.

Yes Logan's best 100 meters in track is 11.43 hardly the kid of speed Bama looks for. But as you said they want to see him in their camp if he is better than what he is rated they will continue to peruse if not they communications will dry up.

What Pokémon is trying to say is that if The U does something that others schools do like slow play the Croots or not recruit one of them anymore like what happened with Diamonte they want to lynch the U. The local high school coaches get their panties all in a twist. They don’t hold the other schools to the same standards as The U.

They aren't unique in that and it isnt like we don't offer and accept verbal as well to only back away at a later date. Since coaches can't comment on these things, how much it goes on so won't even guess.

I would bet a lot of recruits who get some interest from Bama use it to their advantage by saying they were offered.

We do it as well just not to the same scale. The truth is yes saban does mold some outstanding youngmen **** look at the dolphins 1st round pick by all accounts is an amazing kid. But for everyone of those kids there are 10 kids that have been damaged by the perverse style of recruiting and enabling that occurs at institutions like bama.
