So this begs the question...do we lay an egg against Duke? Do we come out on fire because we're embarrassed? Or does it not matter since even if we come out fired up, our bad play calling on defense will allow Duke to score 45 points? While I've felt we could lose to Duke in the in the past, this is the first time I am expecting a loss to Duke. I cannot believe we are likely going to lose to Duke. I know they are 7-2, but we are going to lose to Duke. Let that sink in.

I have a party to go to at 6. Last week I got into a fight with my wife after I told her she could go early and I'd be there once the Miami game was over. I told her this morning (she went to bed before the debacle ended last night) we can leave whenever to go to the party and I really don't care if I miss the end of the game.

Man, if we lose to Duke in football, this board is going to explode.

We will. They are good this year. They're 7-2 and will win 8-9 games. While there is normally no shame in losing to a 8-9 win team, the name "Duke" still carries a negative stigma. This is going to be fun to watch the epic meltdown.
