Is part of the issue with him that he doesn't want to play in a 3-4 defense? He seems to be more of a DT than a nose guard. Pete, is he ok with our D scheme?

It's a base 4-3 but he has multiple fronts to counter spread offenses.

Some think we're moving more towards a 3-4 in the future.

The last few games support it too. McCord and Green were both doing that squat stance at defensive end, sometimes dropping into zone.

My feelings as well. They want to be able to bring multiple fronts we just haven't had the horses to run that yet.

fsu doesn't have the players at linebacker to run 3-4 exclusively…but they will run more of it next year and wanted to run some this year but brandon jenkins got hurt…I doubt KB goes to fsu they have plenty of DTs...but he is the only one getting attention from Odell Haggins and rumors are they only want 1 DT in their class.
