Just finished reading all the posts regarding Kaaya as the possible starter for game 1 against Looneyville...Well lets face it barring the hand of God healing Williams by the end of the month, it's either Heaps or Handsome Brad.. Last summer I posted about a kid in California who looked like the second coming of Peyton Manning and another kid from Alabama who could throw the ball 50 yards on a rope and be there to catch it--Rozier..OC Coley must have seen the same things as they're both in the fold..Kaaya didn't have an all world junior year mostly due to the supporting cast, but he absolutely put this same team on his back as a senior and led them all the way to the championship..If you've ever seen the game two things stand out..#1 He drove the other team bonkers, against a stacked passing defense by dinking and dabbling his passing, instead of going for the home run to keep his team in the game..#2 For those who think he can't motor , he scored the winning touchdown but more importantly had two long runs to keep drives alive that resulted in scores...He's got the Dorsey smarts where you throw to the guy who's open to later set up the homer..Quite the opposite of the Morris theory...Trent Dilfer said it best at last years Elite 11, Of all the QB"s, Kaaya was the one who could do it all... Hate to see a lost redshirt, but if it's necessary, I think we're in good hands freshman or not...

daddacane: This is good advice. Paragraphs should be no more than 4 sentences, regardless of topic change. Its just easier on the eyes for people with cheapee monitors or those who are reading the board from their phone. You'll get more discussion if you structure posts with this in mind.

My prediction: Kaaya ain't playing a down this season. Redshirt.

Golden has ONE card for remaining coach in 2015, and it isn't firing Dorito at the end of 2014 (that jig is up, firing him now only proves Golden was willfully incompetant the last 3 years, and was intentionally ******** the program. Dorito is attached to Golden for life).

Golden's ONLY shot is "Wait till 2015 with Kaaya!"


That's why he didn't start Morris in 2010, when the season was over early after the VT loss and Jacory was a total failure and dead weight. Needed to have an excuse for why 2011 would be better (which of course it wasn't), AND the excuse that Morris in 2011 "Was really a first time starter".


So it will be Heaps and Williams, and I predict awful QB play all year. (just like Kansas predicted when they ran him out of their program last year)

Sorry, but now is not the time for being sensitive and nice. Golden's 4th year, and the program is worse than ever. Duke's program has surpassed us, for Christ's sake!

Duke's program has surpassed us in Goldan's reign. Getting blown out by everyone with 7 or more wins, and frankly will be a mircale if we can hold on to a distant thrtid in 56the Coastal in Golden's 4th year.


Yes, getting worse. We don't play Radio or Coker teams 11 times a season. We play teams that are coimmitted to winning (except for GT and UVA), and they are starting to mock us on a regular basis. When some QB UL pulled from intramurals starts throat slashing and flashing the U at our sideline in the first QTR, then you will know.
