Just wondering why do kids go to schools that they may have to sit at for a while like fields possibly may have to do if Fromm wins a title, but at miami in their own backyard wont do the same?

What are you talking about? Who’s the top QB FL recruit that spurned the U this year? Fields is from GA.

Might never play a down at UGA. Heard he’s considering the MLB Draft as he may be a 1st/2nd Rd pick

Eason transfers and Fields goes to MLB... GA would only have Fromm..but Fields enrolled in school today and stated he is not pursuing baseball

Does OP realize Jarren Williams is probably doing the same thing?

He's got as much a shot of beating oiut Perry as Fields does with Frohm.

Some kids (Emory Jones) are scared of competition, others aren't

What? Perry hasn’t played a down yet...he absolutely can come in and beat him out because he’s an EE and Perry hasn’t taken a meaningful snap to prove himself yet. Fromm is the QB of a team playing the NC...not the same thing.

According to him, he's enrolling early at UGA so I doubt he's going the baseball route. Those 1/2 round MLB draft picks might get a nice signing bonus but many never make it to the bigs. Football is the right choice for him. He's too good to not play

He can go play baseball, get the money, and if it doesnt work out always go back to football. That being said he is not a 1st or 2nd round pick, yes he does have talent, but you cant take your 1st or 2nd pick on somewhat of a project.

But if he does really want to play baseball, why go to Ga (other than the signing bonus)??? If I think baseball with football, I think Miami, LSU, Texas...

Don't think he'd be able to go back to football after turning pro in baseball. Wouldn't be NCAA eligible

All 18 year old baseball prospects are projects. I hope you realize 5th round still pays more than any bag UGA can give.

He retains his amateur status in every sport except the one he is a professional in. Like what Chris Weinke, Branden Wgeeded and Josh Booty off the top of my head

Very true, but there are also third year college players as well as juco players also draft eligible, who are less of a project. Also, I saw him at the perfect game showcase, he does have potential, he is a plus athlete. And over time those athletic ability could translate to a productive major league player. But not sure I would out my job on the line to take him in the 10 rounds unless you can be 100 percent sure he doesn't wanna play football.
I'm trying g to do this on mobike but here is the break down of each potential round payout last mlb draft.

We had Kelly, Testaverde, and Kozar on the roster at the same time. How did that work out for all the parties?
