He was not yesterday's Welcome to the U.

I spoke to one of his high school coaches this morning who got in touch with Julio last night and this is what his coach said:

"Spoke to Julio and he said he is not committed to any school as of yet. He is in summer school and waiting till it ends. He was actually on a visit in Texas(didn't mention the school)"

Then how could Derosier have signed a LOI to UM per the Herald. This kids recruitment is turning into a circus, I get the feeling he is just using UM to get some other offers and late interest. I hav no clue how you can sign a LOI thn visit another school.

I am thinking staff may have gotten a better look at those feet an possible medical opinions that encouraged them to reconsider his offer. I am hoping his injury bug is behind and his head is on straight with his commitment to UM.

He didn't sign a LOI. If Manny is correct he signed a financial aid agreement which is non binding. Its what Matthew Thomas could've done so he wouldn't have been obligated to play at FSU if he changed his mind. Its something all top prospects could do. Coaches would hate it. Players would have more power. For the top prospects the coaches would have to play their game even more than they do. If Duke had signed a financial aid agreement instead of an LOI he could've left after this past season and go play anywhere. Miami couldn't restrict him from playing at FSU if he wanted to. The LOI is supposed to protect the players that sign from coaches who are shady but Thomas didn't need any protection. Schools weren't going to tell him no or sign over him and leave him without a spot..

With all due respect, this staff appears to be on tilt looking for bodies at DT. Keif and bostwick may prove to be the biggest misses in a long time. Our front 7 recruiting is just missing something, in my opinion.

D'no and Jethro and/or the NCAA are front 7 repellents. The exceptions are few. Please tell me our DT signees have not been desperate reaches?

I feel what you're saying. They Really took a flyer on some unknown kids like Jermaine Grace, AQM, Kirby, Perryman, Chickillo, McCord.

DT issues are old news and we're lookin like things are getting done working on it so take your negative ned to the negative shed and leave him there till the negatives dead homie
