"James Kelly, a 6-8 forward in the 2013 class, has given a verbal commitment to Miami (FL). The skilled forward has had more than thirty mid and high major schools in to see him this season. Along with Miami, Kelly also had been considering New Mexico, Michigan State, Marshall,Xavier, Temple, Houston. Kelly is averaged 18.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this year and led Owens to NJCAA D2 National Tournament appearance.
The Canes are getting a good one in Kelly. He has good size and mobility and is able to score in the low post or step away from the basket and knock down perimeter jumpers. Kelly’s range extends out to the three point line. He is also a good athlete who plays above the rim and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint."

Kirk had talent, but he didn't really focus on basketball while he was down here like he should have... He started 30 games for DePaul this year and was the 5th leading scorer and 2nd leading rebounder on the team.
Everything I've read about James Kelly makes me like the kid more and more. Welcome to the U, James!

Did not know that. I just assumed he was selling cell phones at a Detroit mall kiosk.
he would be better off at the kiosk. orange did a good job of making it sound better than it really was. that second spot in rebounds on the team was 3.9 per game, down from last year even though he played more minutes per game.
