This guy is finally going to be a senior this year. I have known him/coached him since 6th grade. Played at Montverde his freshman and sophomore years. He is related to the UF Pouncey bros... cousins.. He is a solid 6 ft 2 190lbs. His best two offers so far are from WVU and Wake. Mom is a big Canes fan!! Thoughts?? Someone needs to get him a Jr Day invite.... UF had him down for theirs last week. He said he hasn't heard from Us yet!!

Are you referring to these Pouncey brother (one plays for the Dolphin's and the other the Steeler's)

So Canedog since you know Jordan... how is he a gator? Keep me in the loop on him. Also if he is apparently good enough for UF ( since you know something that even Jordan doesn't know) then why wouldn't we recruit him too?

BTW I do my best to keep Miami on all of these kids I come across up here in Orange County. So get this man down for Jr. Day!
 
Jordan was offered by UGA and Bama today. ****es me off that we are not showing him any attention. He said he followed Dugans and Rumph but they haven't communicated with him. Been talking to him weekly and Yesterday at his little brothers track meet he said he would love to here from Miami as he likes the U. Sucks that we aren't showing any love at all. I understand we can't get everyone but show the kid some love.

Hoods what part of Lakeland is considered the hood ? Kathleen has some bad parts just wonder sometimes since i grow up all over A dale

Up to 50 offers. Has Bama, ND, Mich St., Auburn etc..... Stated this last night:

Per Rivals....Two other schools to keep an eye on who have yet to offer are Miami and Florida. Pouncey, who grew up as a fan of the Canes, will actually camp in front of both coaching staffs in June so it will be interesting to see if he adds to more offers to his impressive total.

Bring my boy Pouncey down to Miami. Trent Harris is another WP alum.

Is it me.. or does all recruits say they grew up Cane fan... maybe because there were a number of Cane fans in the late 90s...when this current gen was born...so parents could have been...when these started the football careers around 7 or 8 it wasn't cool to be a Cane fan..what gives

Pouncey's mom is a huge cane.. She grew up in South Florida.. Always repping her U stuff at events. Most kids do follow their parents allegiance. Kid will make an educated decision but we are trying to get him down south. He is hitting up UF's camp today and LSU tomorrow. Look forward to how he plays in front of our coaches.
