Just curious if the plan, before yesterday) was to play him and then redshirt him? Was yesterday his 4th game? Or was he already over and burned his redshirt before yesterday?
Regardless, if they were planning on redshirting him after yesterday, that plan is out the window.
I thought I read somewhere here that maybe the plan was to redshirt him.
We need him now and he needs to play more the rest of the way. He’s not staying 4 years so it doesn’t matter. And God forbid he gets injured, he has the redshirt if needed.

Redshirting a talent like him is pointless and the coaches know it.

He said in his presser he wasn't doing things right and allen took his snaps. He said he fixed it. Boom....snaps.

Redshirting any stud player is beyond ridiculous in this day and age because players rarely stay 4 years let alone 5 years at the same place. Lyle needs to play Saturday vs Syracuse redshirt be damned

Completely agree. Redshirts are gonna be limited to long term projects like Judd who need the development and eligibility.

He's played 9 games. So it wasn't that.
