Jordan Lyle disapproves

Stout has the best OL in the galaxy, and, while UM's OL has really good to great talent, I'm not sure Stout's OL schemes will work for UM. But it can't hurt to talk to him about what he's doing there in Philadelphia.
Stout can identify strengths and weaknesses like no other. That's the big thing. Maybe an ex Cane with 2 rings to prove his acumen lending an eye to Mario and Mirabal and unlock some potential.

And learn some new concepts, like outside zone running.

Mirabal and Cristobal needs to have a sit down with a former Cane OL coach.... a 2x superbowl and 3peat killer Jeff Stoutland about blocking and run concepts... because the Eagles run game is a masterpiece. If we had that type of run game to go along with Ward's passing game last year.... JEEZ
My comment was sarcasm. Against FBS opponents, Miami was fifth in the nation in yards per attempt. Our running game was the best it’s been in 20 years.

I missed the sarcasm.

No doubt, loved Miami's run game, but we could do more than inside zone, we could get better.

Yea, but it’s all a moot point with that horrendous defense that couldn’t stop a cold that we had last year. We could have had the greatest offense in the history of football and it wouldn’t have mattered. Plus, I wouldn’t really say we were terrible in rushing(27th in the nation), but I would like to see us get better.

I don’t like using yardage per game as a metric for how good our rushing offense was. Yes, we were 27th in rushing yards but we were 100th in average rushing attempts. We averaged 5.6 yards per carry which was 5th in the nation. Our rush offense was statistically fantastic, we just threw it better/more often.

I like Pringle, but right now Lyle>>>>Pringle

Kid is a stud, open your eyes.

Coaches and Ajay Allen agree with you. Athletically, check. Those incredible numbers from last season don't have me convinced given the context. He was 9 for 34 vs Iowa State when we really needed him to take over the game after going 3 for 5 at Syracuse.

Kid was a true freshmen, I'm not down on him. I'm just saying the hype machine is off the charts right now.
