- “They almost got my recruitment started,” Gidron told CaneSport. “They were the first team to recognize my talents. They gave me a chance, so I’m definitely going to give them a chance in my recruitment.”
- “On June 15, coach Kevin Beard called me that day, and a few other coaches from Miami text me almost every day,” Gidron said. “I hear from them a lot.”
- “I think they have a lot of good stuff going for them,” Gidron said. “They got a new quarterback with Cam Ward coming in, so I like the direction they’re going.”
- “I really look at the coaches and the development,” Gidron said. “Really, the ability to get me to the next level. If they’ve got a lot of players going to the league and receivers succeeding, that’ll be a program I’m interested in. Also, the most genuine connection with coaches is what I look for.”
- “Really just good success on the field this season,” Gidron said when asked what he wanted to see from Miami moving forward. “Probably just a 1,000-yard receiver, and just continuing to build that relationship with coach Beard is what I’d like to see from them.”
