Coach Butch needs to stop by Dayton, Ohio to offer 2019 OT Jonathan Allen. He missed most of his senior year because of an ACL tear. He was/is a huge buckeye lean but Ohio St backed off an are keeping Allen as a last minute signing day morning option. But OSU is full at OL for 2019, so that offer most likely won't come, which allow UM to steal this converted basketball player to developmental Tackle prospect.

Honestly, I would want to learn more about his work ethic. Most Big guys at the HS level tend to be lazy and dont pick up good work ethic until they get into a College S&C program. A blown knee could have led to alot of binge eating and no rehab.

I would need to know more about him as a person. If he had solid work ethic after the injury, I highly doubt Wisconsin and Ohio State would back off.

Every time OSU keeps one of these guys hanging to the end, they always end up signing there...Has happened multiple times over the years where UM shows interest. One year it was a DT.

Senior season before he got hurt. Keep in mind he is new to football having only played a few years

Wisconsin had 5-star OT Logan Brown committed and got full at OL but he was a target early on. I’m sure OSU just had higher ranked targets and were not going to use up a spot on a guy coming off injury, even if he was local unless he was a bonafide stud.

He seems like he's decent but we should look at Darnell Wright OT,from Huntington,WV.at Huntington H.S., Renato Brown OG,from West Palm Bch. at Palm Bch. Central, and Danielson Ike,from Kansas City MO. at Rockhurst H.S.

Wright is heavy in the Bag game particularly a big orange kiss'n cousins type bag.

*) Brown is pass for Miami

*) IKE is a Genron Leader of Men cast off. To much baggage for him to come back to Miami.

Kid is a bit of a "one hit wonder" on tape.

Meaning: he gets his initial strike and then kind of hangs out, not doing much.

Maybe it's an inexperience thing, but more likely, he just doesn't have the chops for the position.

I'd say we're OK on the inside, but boy do we need help on the outside.

If I'm not mistaken, its crucial that outside tackles need to have quick feet and proper technique.

Not to say that a knee/leg is a disqualifier, Jake Long had multiple injuries and was a fine Left Tackle, but its certainly a question mark.

Kid is an Art Kehoe special. I don't know if our new Oline coach is a developmental guy.

...But it looks like he better be.
