Am I the only one that sees this as an opportunity to jump on snatching back the state of FL right now?

I would look at his résumé at Kentucky a reason to not legitimize his ability be a successful coordinator. So as far as I see it...
Advantage: UM

uf sells itself pretty well regardless of who's in charge. they're the only sec team in the state and florida's flagship school. they will get their share of recruits.

UF will make more inroads into South Florida recruiting, then. Joker did his best while at UK but he established some S.Florida roots. He'll probably get Alvonte Bell to UF now

How often have we gone head to head for a recruit with UF since Meyer left and Golden arrived?

FSU has become the real competition for us. UF pretty much goes after their own guys.

Meyer got:

Hammond
Elam
Bostic
Roberson
Riggs
Dunbar
Gilbert
Kitchens
Deonte Thompson
Moses Jenkins
Janorris Jenkins
Major Wright.....

Are you kidding me?

I'm talking about post-Meyer era, since Muschamp and Golden arrived. How often do we currently go head to head with them?

There are plenty of ballers in S FL for everyone. It is the Dade kids AG has to lockdown, then try to do the same in Broward and PB. As long as the tri-counties are the focal point of every class, we will be good.

Surprised at Joker..he was a very successful OC..Ya think he would've held out for an OC job.... Unless maybe he thinks Pease will be gone soon and he will be in line for the OC job at Florida

some have hinted that this is the reason for him coming to uf. either way, anytime you can get a former hc and very good oc as your receivers coach that's a good hire.

Maybe Muschamp sees Harsin getting looks and is looking to protect the program?

I think this is an excellent hire.

Brandon Gainer left UK this past April. Wasn't that pretty much Joker's only "inroad" to South Florida?

Joker was born in Kentucky, played at Kentucky, coached at Kentucky.

Only thing Joker will do is help Stoops get FL recruits.

It was hard to detect any coaching going on.

as a linebacker coach? **** yea. i would hire randy as a position coach. uf just got a former head coach and oc as a position coach, think about it. he sucked as a head coach but was **** good as an oc which is how he got to be head coach in waiting to begin with.

Ummmm, well half the guys on that list were/are absolute studs. Funny how that is neglected in any reasoning. As far as now, isn't it obvious: By hiring a guy who CAN get into South Florida. Muschamp hasn't done much since he arrived.
