Joe Salave’a

That was Manure's scheme. TFL and SACKS but give up the middle of the field, gap integrity, and no contain from DE's.. So you do the math, if Manure's defense was so good why did he have the record he had at Miami? Did you watch the UNC game?
Dude I never said Manny's defense was so good. I simply gave their rankings for comparison sake. You COMPLETELY missed my point.

Mario has repeatedly said and echoed today on College Gameday that it all starts in the trenches. If he likes what he was building up in Oregon (which he should they literally have the number one pick on their line) why the **** not

Let’s be realistic, not hard to have the #1 pick when you have the number 1 recruit in the country coming into college football

Looks like he does well on the recruiting trail. He is the secondary recruiter alot. He seems to appeal to what looks like Polynesian kids. That's a welcome addition, but getting those kids, who are traditionally closer to the west coast, might prove to be tougher at Miami. Either way, Joe Looks like he can be a helluva an addition to the staff

Well... yes and no.
I would put "rushing yards allowed" over sacks and TFL's.

Sacks and TFL's are splash plays but they're meaningless if you're allowing teams to run the ball down your throat the rest of the time.
Exactly. Some pretty bad Miami defenses have had impressive TFL stats and sacks, but gave up a lot of rushing yards, total yards, and points.
